One of my two biggest search terms is Maid RPG. My only experience with it has been rolling up a character, but that was a lot of fun. Now that they've enabled ordering on their site, I've gone ahead and ordered a copy. I'll review it once I get my copy (physical or PDF, doesn't matter). I probably won't be able to talk my usual D&D group to give it a whirl, so no play testing for me.
- The Gaming Grunts - gaming podcasts
- Scary Lemon - not always gaming, but always interesting.
- Yaruki Zero - good coverage of Japanese RPGs
Just do what I did, explain the comedy side of it and get everyone rolling up their silly characters so they can see the good stupid fun of it.
Generating the setting and the characters, and playing a good deal of it takes about 2-3 hours.
So far everyone who's tried this has had nothing but a good time with the game.
Everyone who hasn't tell me stories of how a rogue neon genesis evangellion DVD killed their dog.
